so we know that x= -4/5 and y= 1/3

knowing that information you can apply it into the equation -x+4y

it should look like this: -(-4/5)+4(1/3)

when you simplify those you get 4/5+ 4/3

Now you need to add them, but since they don't have the same denominator you need to find a common denominator that they both have; which is 15

You multiply 3/3 with 4/5 and you should get 12/15

You then multiply 5/5 with 4/3 and you should get 20/15

Now that they have the same denominator you then add 12/15+20/15= 32/15 (that's the answer)
