13_(3,2)

14_8.5

15_6

16_-1.5

17_-4.5

18_2.5

19_3

28_(-7,-5)

38_1.8

40_1.5

42_1.6

Explanation:

12_ midpoint formula x1+x2/2 , Y1+Y2/2

-7+4/2 , 2+2/2

-3/2 , 4/2

(1.5,2)

13_3+3/2, 9+(-5)

6/2, 4/2

(3,2)

14-19 just find the middle between the 2 numbers

for 20-27 just repeat what i did in question 12 and 13

28_ to get from 1 to -3 you have to -4 so to find the x of the other endpoint you have to -4 from -3 same goes for the Y coordinate to get from 7 to 1 you have to -6 to find the Y for the other endpoint you have to -6 again from one

same goes for questions 29-33 its easier to draw a number line and do it their

38_the distance between -4 and 5 which is 9 then you have to find 1/5 of 9 which is 1/5 x 9 = 1.8

40_the distance between -7 and 2 which is 9 then you have to find 1/6 of 9 which is 1/6 x 9 = 1.5

42_distance formula √(x1- x2)²+(Y1-Y2)²

√(2-(-5)²+(9-5)²

√7²+4²

√49+16

√65

=8.0

1/5 x 8.0 =1.6
