What is the solution for this inequality?

8x < -32

The Answer is C because when u divide 8 on both sides the sign of this < would switch to > since 32 is a negative number and when u divide -32 by 8 u get x>-4

For this case we have the following expression:


8x <-32

The x must be cleared, for which the 8 (which is multiplying to the x) is passed, to the other side of the inequality, dividing to -32. So, we have left:


x <-(32)/(8)

Dividing we have:


x <-4

So, the solution is
x <-4
