So first find out how much 1 student spends
So divide 12 by 4
So each student spends $3 on lunch
Multiply by 10
10 students would spend $30 on lunch

10 students would spend $30 on school lunch. It would be thirty because 12 divided by four is 3 so you multiply ten multiplied by 3 which would be thirty.
