well, to get the slope of any line, we only need two points, hmmm let's see, from the points there, we can use say, (-4, 5) and (0, 6).



\bf (\stackrel{x_1}{-4}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{5})\qquad(\stackrel{x_2}{0}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{6})\\\\\\slope = m\implies\cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{6-5}{0-(-4)}\implies \cfrac{6-5}{0+4}\implies \cfrac{1}{4}
