You have a cup of water and a packet of powdered juice mix. You add some of the juice mix to the cup of water and stir. The powder dissolves completely. You decide to add more juice mix to the cup and stir again. This time chunks of powder are floating on the surface of the water. What can you conclude about the solution? The solution is miscible. The solution is immiscible. The solution is unsaturated.

The correct answer is "The solution is immiscible".

A solution is said to be immisicible when two or more substance do not mix in each other to form a homogeneous solution.

However, a misicible solution is one where two or more substances mix in each other to form a homogeneous solution.

In an unsaturated solution more solute can still dissolve in the solvent to form a solution. However, in this case more powdered juice mix does not dissolve in the water.
