What is the molarity of a solution of 6:57g NaCl dissolved in water to make a solution with a total volume of 452 mL

Hey there!:

Molar mass NaCl = 58.44 g/mol

Number of moles:

n = m / mm

n = 6.57 / 58.44 => 0.1124 moles of NaCl

Volume in liters of solution:

452 mL / 1000 => 0.452 L

Therefore:

M = n / V

M = 0.1124 / 0.452

= 0.248 M
