A room is 14 feet long by 19 feet wide. If you are using flooring tiles that are 12 inches square (12"x12"), how many tiles will it take to cover the floor?

12 * 12 = 144

144 * 14 =

266 tiles because 12 in is 1 foot so the equation would be 14 times 19
