yes your answers 1 and 4-6 are correct. great job!

1 for question 6 we need to distribute the -3 (our outside value) to our values inside our parentheses by multiplication

-3 x 2x = -6x
-3 x -5 = 15

new equation: 8x + 1 - 6x + 15

2. now combine like terms

8x - 6x = 2x
1 + 15 = 16

so our new equation with combined like terms is: 2x + 16
