the standard form of a quadratic is : y = ax² + bx + c : (a ≠ 0 )

note that (x - 0 )² = x²

distributing by - 0.3 gives

y= - 0.3x² + 3 ← in standard form

with a = - 0.3, b = 0 and c = 3
