Government official(GO): One of my principal functions is to mantain the order and civic behavior of people in their daily interactions, based on the golden rule: don't do to others, what you don't want them to do to you.

Priest(P): Mine is not so different from yours, but through the eyes of God, my job is to guide humans -the beautiful creation of our Lord- and make them follow the right path of illumination through their good actions like helping the poor, pray for the ones in need and reach a helping hand to whoever may need it.

GO: Well, I think one important difference between our duties is how we deal with the consequences of human actions. In my case, I need to punish any misconduct with severity in order to not repeat the offense.

P: Yes, you are right. Mine is completely different. We leave the judgment in God's hands because he is the only one who can judge. But as we know, God is full of love and he/she does not judge his creatures.
