Questing about citing resources!

I’m writing an essay and I found a very informative report that has to do with my essay topic. There’s a piece of text that I want to include in my essay as a quote, however that piece of text is a paraphrase of another text that I don’t have access to because it’s a book. Should I quote the report’s paraphrase and give credit to that person, or should I re-paraphrase the paraphrase and cite the author of the book??? I’m like actually super confused

Well, what I would do is befeor the quote put the title and page number. I would say thats how you do it.
