If AC=9. Solve for X and find the length of BC.

2x + 3x - 1 = 9
5x-1=9
5x=10
X = 2

Now substitute

3x - 1 = BC
3(2) - 1 = BC
6 -1 = BC
5 = BC

Answer:

x=2

2x+3x-1=9

5x=10

x=2

BC=3x-1

BC=3*2-1

BC=5
