Reverend Samuel Parris took an essential role during Witchcraft trial. As I quote "Many historians agree that Samuel Parris played a pivotal role in the Salem Witch Trials and some even consider him one of the main causes of the trials, according to the book The Account of the Life of Samuel Parris". He considered that manu Witches had the power to control other people's mind and make them do things against their will. So he said having a slave is an act of witchcraft therefore it was ironic that he could had had one.
