Solution-

Dilation is a transformation that produces an image that is the same shape as the original, but is a different size. Dilation is a transformation in which each point of an object is moved along a straight line.

If the scale factor is greater than 1, the image is an enlargement.

If the scale factor is between 0 and 1, the image is a reduction.

Here, the center is (0, 0). When the center is the origin we need to multiply all the original coordinates of the object by the scale factor given, which is 12 in this case.

Original co-ordinates are,

(0,0),\ (8,0),\ (0,-6)

New co-ordinates will be,

(0* 12,0* 12),\ (8* 12,0* 12),\ (0* 12,-6* 12)

=(0,0),\ (96,0),\ (0,-72)
