no, the last electron is the down facing electron in the 3p subshell.

the shells are filled in the following order (for this example):

s subshell, then p subshell.

but the electrons will fill out the boxes in the p subshell one by one until the are no empty spaces. then it will fill the boxes in the p subshell in the opposite direction until all the boxes have 2 electrons
