4x + 6 <-6

I just did this through connections academy the same exact problem, but this is how you do it.

You cancel out the +6 near the x because we need to start isolating the variable. So you subtract 6 from both sides:


4x < - 12
Then you isolate the x completely by dividing both sides by 4:


x < - 3
That is your answer :)
