Amount of blue dye mixed with one gallon of white paint=
(3)/(4)

Amount needed for 8 gallons =
(3)/(4)*8=6 ounce

Amount of pink dye mixed with one gallon of white paint=
(2)/(3)

Amount needed for 8 gallons =
(2)/(3)*8= (16)/(3) ounces

So, total dye required =
6+(16)/(3)=(18+16)/(3)=(34)/(3)

or

11(1)/(3) ounces.

Hence, option C is correct.
