y=(1)/(x-2)=(x-2)^(-1)\\\\\text{use}\ (x^n)'=nx^(n-1)\ and\ f'(g(x))=f'(g(x))\cdot g'(x)\\\\y'=\left[(x-2)^(-1)\right]'=-1(x-2)^(-2)\cdot(x-2)'=-(x-2)^(-2)\cdot1=-(1)/((x-2)^2)
