Imagine you are trying to convince your district's school board that eliminating elective courses for struggling students is a bad idea.Which appeal would most likely move this audience to support your case

Struggling students may find it difficult to find the motivation for core classes. Allowing them an alternate outlet for creativity will help them to feel school can be a positive place.
As for which appeal? Do you mean like pathos, logos or ethos? Most likely pathos.

Bad students need time away from required courses in order to focus more intently in the courses they are required to take. School is stressful, time away from school to re-charge helps resolve this. Taking a course that is elected will help a student feel better, less stressed, and more apt to succeed at school.
