When you apply heat energy to a substance, where does the energy go? Explain

Answer:

Heat is a form of energy that can be transferred from one object to another or even created at the expense of the loss of other forms of energy.

When we apply heat energy to a substance; some of the heat energy is used to raise its temperature for example if the substance is water it will start boiling and evaporating. Energy can also be used to complete some reactions in substance. And some of the energy is released into atmosphere
