What disadvantages did the British during the American Revolution

Answer: The British were fighting in a faraway land and had to ship soldiers and supplies. They also relied on mercenaries, who fought only for money and had little stack in the outcome.

One of the disadvantages is that the colonists had more people than the British.Another disadvantage is that they were fighting away from home and didn't really know the territory that they were fighting on Allso military orders troops and supplies sometimes took months to reach where the British soldiers were.
