4 Rasied to the fourth power is equal to

4^4

The big number (the base) is what is being multiplied, and the exponent (the small number) is how many times it is being multiplied by itself

For example

2^3 = 2*2*\2\\\\Or\\7^4 = 7*7*7*7

So in this situation,

4^4 = 4*4*4*4

Which = 256

4^4 or 4 raised to the fourth power means that four is being multiplied by itself 4 times.

4 * 4 * 4 * 4 is another way to rewrite 4^4
