Please help if you can! I’m trying to understand these.

Write an equation of the line in point slope form that passes through points (-15,7) and (5, -3)
y-7=1/2(x+15)
y+7=-2(x-15)
y-7=-1/2(x+15)
y+7=2(x-15)

Answer:

y - 7 = -1/2(x + 15)

Explanation:

m = (7 + 3)/(-15 - 5)

m = 10/-20

m = -1/2

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y₁ = 7; x₁ = -15

y - (7) = (-1/2)(x - (-15))

y - 7 = -1/2(x + 15)
