Answer with explanation:

Amount of Ribbon used by Jennifer to make bows for the her cousins
=(2)/(7) of meter

Amount of Ribbon Left
=(10)/(21)

Let Total amount of Ribbon Possessed by Jennifer = x meter

Writing the above statement in terms of equation

(2x)/(7)+(10)/(21)=x\\\\x-(2x)/(7)=(10)/(21)\\\\(5x)/(7)=(10)/(21)\\\\ x=(10 * 7)/(5 * 21)\\\\ x=(2)/(3)

Total Ribbon Possessed by
=(2)/(3) meter

Jennifer used : 2/7.

Remaining length of the ribbon = 10/21.

Total length of the ribbon in starting = Length of used ribbon + Remaining length of the ribbon .

Therefore,

Total length of the ribbon in starting = 2/7 +10/21

(2)/(7)+(10)/(21)

\mathrm{Least\:Common\:Multiplier\:of\:}7,\:21:\quad 21

\mathrm{Adjust\:Fractions\:based\:on\:the\:LCM}

(2)/(7)=(2\cdot \:3)/(7\cdot \:3)=(6)/(21)

=(6)/(21)+(10)/(21)

=(16)/(21)

Therefore, Jennifer start with 16/21 meter of ribbon.
