Hello!

The definition of withstood is to be remaining or undamaged. The definition for preceded is to follow after something. So, how do we use these in a sentence?

An example for withstood could be, “I️ withstood the bitterness of his voice.”

An example for preceded could be, “I️ preceded to pine after what I️ wanted.”

Hope this helps! :)
