The slope is the change in Y over the change in X

Label each point (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

Slope = y2 - y1 / x2-x1

Slope = -7 - (-11) / -6 - (-1)

Slope = -7 +11 / -6 +1

Slope = 4 / -5

Move the negative sign in front:

Slope = -4/5
