Answer:

The solution is (-4, -2)

Explanation:

Given two equations

2x-5y=2 → (1)

3x+2y=-16 → (2)

we have to solve the system of equations by elimination method

Multiply (1) by 3 and (2) by 2 and then subtracting we get

3(2x-5y)-2(3x+2y)=6-(-32)

6x-15y-6x-4y=38

-19y=38

y=-2

2x=2+5(-2)=2-10=-8

x=-4

Hence, the solution is (-4, -2)

Option A is correct
