How did farmers become enlightened on political affairs?

From their local villages
Through an early postal service
By sharing information at the market days
They only knew of their own local events.

The correct answer is C) sharing information at the market days.

Farmers became enlightened on political affairs by sharing information at the market days.

Framers were modest people dedicated to their work in the farm fields. Hard work indeed, to produce the necessary amount of crops to maintain their families. There was no time for reading the news and many people were not educated and did not know how to read and write. They were men and women or work. So the way they learn about the news and the political situation of their region was at the market place where they trade their products, hear what other people said and expressed their opinions.
