Why were the people who lived in the Georgia colony not quick to join with other colonies and gaining freedom from the British give two reasons

The two reasons why Georgia was not very eager of gaining freedom were:

- excellent economy and wealth;

- close ties with the British;

Georgia was a rich colony. They were producing large amounts of very profitable plants, so they were economically stable and had it going pretty well. Also, they retained very close relations with the British, and one of the biggest factor for this was the trade, because big portion of the products from Georgia were going to the British market, so losing them as customers was not the best scenario for them.
