The correct answer is - Paleolithic.

The people of the Paleolithic period were already developing in an artistic way, and even though they did not suitable tools to create a more sophisticated art, they did their best with what they had at disposal. These people started to create some sculptures that were usually small, and very basic shaped, but still they were masterpieces back them. Also, they used the dyes that they could get from the nature, and started painting on the walls of the caves where they lived. Usually the motif were the animals that they encountered and interacted in their daily lives.
