For this question, you simply isolate x by subtracting 14 from both sides.

14+x > 18 ---> Subtract 14 from both sides
18-14 = 4
x>4 -----> This is your answer!

Tip: If you ever multiply or divide by a negative you must flip the inequality sign the other direction. This did not happen in this one, but it is just a tip for other questions :D
