Early humans in the Neolithic Era were living a sedentary lifestyle. The period of human culture began around 10,000 years ago in the middle east and other parts of the world. This era is characterized by the the beginning of agriculture, the domestication of animals, and the development of crafts/new professional skills such as pottery, jewelry, and much better tools. They did not hunt for food because instead of hunting they developed a new technique and started growing food. They grew wheat, oats and barley which provided nourishment. Yes, They stated farming/Agriculture.
