What happens to the volume, mass, and density of most solids as their temperature increases?

Answer:

When the temperature of most of the solids is increased, their volume is also increased.

But their mass remains constant because volume change does not affect the mass of the solid.

The density of solids will change because of volume change.

As density = mass/ volume.

According to the above equation volume and density are inversely proportional.

So increase in volume and constant mass will decrease the density of solid.
