Hourly wage: $4.25 times the number of hours worked: 9

$38.25. Now add the tips made with the amount earned after working 9 hours

+51.85 = $90.10

Finding the percent tipped on the bottom problem

$18.50 times 0.14 (14%) = $2.59

(2.59/18.50)×100 part/whole gives you percentage as a decimal then multiply by 100 to get an actual percent.
