Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

2x−1/4−3x−2/5=1/10

2x+−1/4+−3x+−2/5=1/10

(2x+−3x)+(−1/4+−2/5)=1/10(Combine Like Terms)

−x+−13/20=1/10

−x+−13/20=1/10

Step 2: Add 13/20 to both sides.

−x+−13/20+13/20=1/10+13/20

−x=3/4

Step 3: Divide both sides by -1.

−x−1=3/4−1

x=−3/4

2x - (1)/(4) - 3x - (2)/(5) = (1)/(10) \\ \\ - x - (1)/(4) = (5)/(10) \\ \\ - x - (1)/(4) = (2)/(4) \\ \\ - x = (3)/(4) \\ \\ x = - (3)/(4)
