Which part of the body does the pelvis protect?

The pelvis is a bone located on top of out thigh-bones and their function, apart to give mobility to our legs is to protect both masculine and feminine reproductive organs, the bladder and the end of the digestive tract.

Together with the sacrum and coccyx, the pelvic girdle forms a bowl‐shaped region, the pelvis, that protects internal reproductive organs, the urinary bladder, and the lower part of the digestive tract.
