The answer is 35

Here's how I got my answer:

Step 1: Replace all x's with
5. Leaving us with
2(5)^2-3(5)

Step 2: Solve
5^2, which is
25. That leaves us with
2(25)-3(5)

Step 3: Solve
2(25), which is
50. That leaves us with
50-3(5)

Step 4: Solve
3(5), which is
15. That leaves us with
50-15

Step 5: Simplify 50-15 to get your answer, 35.

To find
f(5), all you need to do is substitute 5 in for
x in
f(x). This allows us to find our answer:

f(5) = 2(5)^2 - 3(5)

f(5) = 50 - 15

f(5) = 35

The answer is f(5) = 35.
