What is a=2x+6xz solve for x

To solve for x, we must first isolate that term!
a = 2x + 6xz ------> Factor out x
a = x(2+6z) ------> Now divide by (2+6z) to leave x by itself! This will give you an answer of

x = (a)/(2 + 6z)
