Steps:


\mathrm{Convert\:}30\%\mathrm{\:into\:a\:decimal\:and\:multiply\:by\:}150, \mathrm{Percent} =30\%\:


\mathrm{In\:order\:to\:convert\:a\:percent\:to\:a\:ratio,\:divide\:it\:by\:100}:\quad \:a\%=(a)/(100),  a=30, 30\%\:=(30)/(100)


\mathrm{Convert\:to\:decimal\:form}, =0.3


\mathrm{Multiply\:}0.3\mathrm{\:by\:}150, =0.3\cdot \:150


\mathrm{Simplify}\:0.3\cdot \:150, =45

The easiest way to find percentages of numbers is to change the percentage to a decimal and multiply it by the number.

30%=0.3

150*0.3=45

30% of 150 is 45.
