We are given the expression:

5x+2y^(2)-y^(3)

Now we have to determine the value of this expression at x=2 and y=4.

So let us plug the values of x and y in the expression:

5(2)+2(4)^(2)-(4)^(3)

=10+32-64

=-22

So on plugging x=2 and y=4 in the given expression we get the value as -22

Answer :
5x+2y^(2)-y^(3)=-22
