The ratio of side lengths of square a to square b is 2 : 3. The perimeter of square a is 16 inches. What is the area of square b?

if the ratio of sides is 2:3, the ratio of the perimeters will be the same

Using cross product 2*P = 3*16

2P = 48

P = 24 inches
