Point slope form says the line through (a,b) with slope m is

y - b = m(x - a)

Here that's

y - - 1 = -2(x - -4)

Answer: y + 1 = -2(x + 4)

Point-Slope equation: y - y₁ = m(x - x₁) ; m is slope and (x₁ ,y₁) is the coordinate

y - (-1) = -2(x - (-4)

y + 1 = -2(x + 4) simplified (two negatives make a positive)
