First, multiply -4(2) and -4(x).
The equation is now 7 - 3x = x - 8 - 4x
Now add 8 on both sides to remove the 8 on the right side.
15 - 3x = x - 4x
Solve the right side; x - 4x
15 - 3x = -3x
Now add 3x ok both sides to get x alone in one side.
15 = 0
Therefore, the answer to this equation is no solution, as 15 does not equal to 0 and this can not be solved.
