Can someone please give a step to step on how to factor x^2-75= -10x

x^2 - 75 = -10x

Add 10x to both sides.

x^2 + 10x - 75

Check if splitting the middle term is possible.

Display factors of -75.

1 * -75

-1 * 75

-5 * 15 < (this meets the criteria)

Split the middle term.

x^2 - 5x + 15x - 75

Factor each binomial.

x(x - 5) + 15(x - 5)

Combine factors.
