Answer:
\frac{x+{4} }{x - 16x^(3) }

Steps:

  • (1+(4)/(x) )/(1-16x^(2) )

  • ((x)/(x) +(4)/(x) )/((1-4x)(1+4x) ) (get common denominator (x) for top and factor bottom)

  • \frac{x+{4} }{x(1-4x)(1+4x) } (add numberator, then move x to denominator)

  • \frac{x+{4} }{(x-4x^(2) )(1+4x) } (multiply x and (1-4x) )

  • \frac{x+{4} }{x+4x^(2) - 4x^(2) - 16x^(3) } (FOIL denominator)

  • \frac{x+{4} }{x - 16x^(3) } (simplify)

Sorry about the delay. Hope this helps!
