x > -3

If you look at x = -3 , there is something know as a vertical asymptote that will basically never be reached by the function. With this in mind, we can say that at right before x = 3 it is positive. This is why it is a > sign and not an or equal to. As we move right the function is approaching 0 as a horizontal asymptote meaning it will theoretically always be positive so the range is basically (-3, infinity ) or as an inequality x > - 3
