This is just like an f(x) problem, but the letters are different. First though, the t in d(t) will substitute for the t in the problem d(t)=300,000t. This is what it will look like:

d(t)=300,000t

d(15)=300,000t

d(15)=300,000(15)

d(15)=4,500,000.


To explain it, this means that in 15 seconds light will travel 4,500,000 km.
