The circle given on the graph has the center at origin (0, 0).

We have to find the point (2, √6) lies on the circle or not.

If the point lie on the circle then distance of this point from origin = radius of the circle.

Given from the graph radius = 3 units

Now distance of point (2, √6) from (0, 0) =
\sqrt{(2-0)^(2)+(√(6)-0)^(2)} =√(4 + 6)=√(10)=3.16

Distance between the point and origin is more than radius 3 units.

Therefore point doesn't lie on the circle.

Option D is the answer.
