Write an equation for twelve times h equals one hundred and twenty minus thirty-six

we will always start order of operation from left to right

Left most is :

twelve times h

so, 12 \times h12×h

Right side is :

one hundred and twenty minus thirty-six

120-36

now, we can set them equal

we get

12 \times h=120-3612×h=120−36

so, the equation is

12 \times h=120-3612×h=120−36 ................Answer
